Maha Corbett

Maha Corbett is an entrepreneur, author, health coach and mum.
As the co-founder of SWIISH, an Australian wellness brand with strong global reach, Maha is considered to be one of the country's most respected leaders both in business and specifically in the wellness industry.
SWIISH is synonymous with wellness excellence, producing a range of scientifically formulated supplements. In a growing industry, SWIISH has a long-standing, proven track record and has become a trusted name world-wide. The brand is known for innovation, expertise and for continually driving an open, nothing-off-limits approach to holistic wellness.
Maha is co-author of five bestselling health and wellbeing cookbooks, Super Green Smoothies (2015); The Good Life (2016); Simple & Lean (2017); Super Easy (2019); and Dinner’s Done (2020).
Maha began her career in Investment Banking Human Resources where she held senior executive roles and worked alongside CEOs and MDs at the likes of global powerhouses J.P. Morgan and Bankers Trust, as well as ANZ Bank.
Maha’s desire to start her own business, coupled with a passion for wellness saw her leave this career behind to launch SWIISH in October 2012, alongside her sister, Sally Obermeder. The success of SWIISH has meant that Maha is regularly featured in the media both for her leadership and expertise in wellness and in business. She is regularly found speaking on panels and podcasts, presenting and cooking on TV, and MC’ing events such as corporate functions and charity events.
In addition, Maha's down to earth and relatable nature has seen her garner a loyal and engaged following on social media. Her openness in sharing her fertility struggles, egg freezing and journey through multiple rounds of assisted fertility and IVF, to finally becoming a mum, has resonated with countless others. As such, Maha has been sought out for interviews on this topic.
Passionate about giving back, Maha supports several charities including the Cancer Council, and the Humpty Dumpty Foundation. In addition, SWIISH has its own charitable initiative, WISH by SWIISH, designed to help bring some much needed sparkle back into the lives of those battling serious illness and health issues.
In 2022, Maha was appointed to the Board of Directors of the James Ruse AHS Foundation, a charitable organisation focused on providing support to students in need, investing in the school’s infrastructure and fostering alumni networks.
Maha holds a Bachelor of Arts, graduating from Macquarie University’s Division of Psychology in 2006; as well as a Certificate in Nutrition and Diet through Beck Education, gaining accreditation with the International Institute for Complementary Therapists in 2016.
