VITAMAN GLOBAL PTY LTD
CLARE CASTLES | Director & Founder VITAMAN
Australian born and raised, Clare has always had a passion for skincare and haircare.
She spent most of her childhood playing with perm rods and rollers in her mother’s North Queensland hairdressing salon watching her mum ‘coiffe’ the tresses of Aussie TV legends, Bob & Dolly Dyer.
Clare went on to become a successful hairdresser, make-up artist, beauty therapist, and international skincare lecturer teaching for major corporations such as Qantas, Schwarzkopf, Goldwell, Redken and Artistry Cosmetics.
Clare also owned and operated the first privately registered training organization in New South Wales to offer Beauty Therapy & Make Up Artistry (RTO-VETAB).
Designing and manufacturing products become a passion for Clare and she contract manufactured to many leading companies in Australia and New Zealand.
Whilst training the new recruits at Qantas, Clare had nothing to recommend for the men. So after years of research and gaining a newfound appreciation for indigenous ingredients - a love for formulating great skincare products emerged as Clare’s passion and unique differentiator in the marketplace. She spotted the men’s grooming trend in Australia well ahead of the curve and saw an opportunity that could not be missed.
And in December 1999, VITAMAN launched as the true pioneer in men’s grooming, creating a new cosmetic category in Australia, being the male market and the first e-commerce site for men’s grooming.
With VITAMAN’s 25th anniversary this year, Clare remains dedicated to ensuring that VITAMAN continues its legacy of being the most innovative, effective, and unique men’s skincare, haircare, and grooming product range available today.
VITAMAN is sold in more than 25+ countries and found in some of the world’s most prestigious hotel spas, salons and executive grooming lounges for men, as well as high-end department stores internationally.
