Gillian Fish is the Founder of The 6AM Agency, a creative communications agency with a deep heritage in earned (PR) and owned and a specialisation in Wellbeing and Good Living. She is the author of Good + Well: 25 World Experts Share their Secrets to Wellbeing (Feb, 2017) as well as Resilience. Body. Mind. Soul (2020) and three white papers.

Gillian is acknowledged as one of Australia’s foremost experts in integrated Wellbeing & Good Living communications having worked with some of the world’s leading brands in evidence-based wellbeing including Organic, Sustainable, Natural, Complementary Therapies, OTC, Fitness, Nutrition, Beauty, Medical and Retail across earned and owned. With a deep passion for Wellbeing & Good Living communications and a strong purpose-led philosophy, Gillian founded The 6AM Agency in 2002 which today services local and international clients delivering earned-centric, digital by design creative communications in an audience-first mobile driven world.

6AM launched its PRecision Methodology centered around the principle of EQOV – Effective Quality of Voice – which is a smart and simple methodology the agency uses to design effective brand and communications strategies that deliver audience engagement and an ROI. An entrepreneur by nature, Gillian is deeply in tune with the challenges and opportunities faced by clients and leads the agency with a commercial-first approach to all thinking. She also has an astute understanding of the evidence- based Wellbeing Health Model, which she defines as an evolution from ‘sickness’ to ‘wellness’ with a record for delivering smart, earned-centric, social by design campaigns which are known to have delivered significant results for clients where diet, lifestyle, exercise, nutrition and supplementation play key roles in optimal wellbeing.

With a global Wellbeing network, Gillian is proud to work with some of the world’s leading Preventive Health & Wellbeing key opinion leaders and influencers, many of whom she has interviewed for her books. A former magazine editor, her passion for story-telling, coupled with a deep understanding of the fundamental drivers of good health at their root cause coupled with a passion for understanding what drives audience behaviours, brings valuable insights to brand campaigns to deliver great results. Gillian is honoured to have a place on the Vitafoods Content Advisory Board as well as a member of the Consumer Healthcare Products Marketing and Ethics Sub-Committee, contributing where she can to support industry growth. The agency is a pro-bono partner for the Corporate Kindness Awards.
