Dr Christine Pitt is a globally recognised thought leader, investor and entrepreneur in the ag+food tech ecosystem. She has a particular interest in building globally networked agrifood ecosystems and creating new business models for raising funds to invest in disruptive innovation across the agrifood value chain. Her passion is to make a positive impact in the areas of sustainability, human health & wellbeing, food waste, food security, and creating transparent and ethical agrifood businesses and value chains. Christine has a strong commitment to supporting and mentoring female entrepreneurs and founders. For the past 20 years she has worked extensively in the agrifood sector and was the CEO of MLA Donor Company, an innovation co-investment fund, where she was instrumental in the development and commercialisation of a +$75M p.a. ag+food tech investment portfolio. Christine now spends much of her time working with agrifood tech entrepreneurs, early stage startups, and more mature ventures looking to rapidly scale and grow while delivering positive impact. Christine holds a Bachelor of Science, a Masters of Health Administration, and a Doctor of Business Administration in Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
