Jessica Maree Gordoun


Jessica started her career at Coles Supermarkets working her way into a Category Manager role in the Breakfast and Health Foods Team, where Health Foods first became her passion. During her time in Coles Supermarkets, she was approached to join a new premiumisation store project, which resulted in the conception of Coles Local. Jessica was part of the founding team for this new format stores, building the strategy, range and store experience from the ground up. As a result of her exposure to innovative food trends in Coles Local, Jessica saw the need for better plant-based options in Australia and subsequently brought Beyond Meat to Coles Supermarkets, the first major retailer to stock the product in the country and securing the deal before any of the UK retailers.

After almost 5 years at Coles, Jessica left the business to join The Reject Shop as Head of Strategy for FMCG. Here she converted the discount chain from a predominantly general merchandise store to a general store with a more balanced offer between general merchandise and consumer goods, helping to improve frequency of visit to stores. Here, she lead the deal with Tesco to supply The Reject Shop exclusively to help build a differentiated and broad consumable offer quickly.

In the last 12-months Jessica left the corporate world to focus on her own businesses; Ranged, an end-to-end consulting business that helps brands secure national retailer contracts and manage them and Treat Me Snacks, a low sugar vegan chocolate brand. Jessica brings her buying, commercial strategy and sales background to support other businesses/brands refine their retail strategy and drive profitable sales at the Naturally Good Business Summit.
